  1. Thanks for posting, it’s nice to get an explanation on the meaning and use of the phrases in order to deeper understand and apply them!

  2. I just found this site and would love to attend a bootcamp! Do you have any scheduled for 2018? I live in the KC area, where I know many folks who are involved with and travel to Haiti.

  3. Hi-would you be interested in coming to MI and doing a boot camp? I lead groups to Haiti and I think I could have AT LEAST 30 people.
    Thank you

  5. This is excellent advice Gloria, I have seen many time people judging other from there cultural perspective not even knowing they were doing that. For me it is like glasses we all wear. so for me to really help someone of another culture in what is important, coming to know God. (Food and things are important but learning to live in a way that makes you and God happy, no matter what you have or don’t have, is the greatest gift.) Then I must learn to wear their glasses and take off mine. The most effective people I have seen become a part of the environment around them. and yes it takes time lots of it!

Thank you for sharing these elements with us it helps us foreigners learn, understand and appreciate. thus respect the differences rather then fear them.

  8. Wow! I just came across your site as I am preparing to send a bridal gown to my girl Vanessa in Cap Haiten, Haiti. I was trying to determine what would be culturally acceptable to send with it to fill the box. I am ashamed that I had not learned more before now, Thank you so much for your insights! God bless you as you continue to bless Haiti!

  9. Gloria I purchased your videos from Vimeo on December 9, 2020. My son has already started and bought his book. I thought the 100.00 covered the book. If so will you send me one.
I’m excited to get started and love your energy.

  10. I received my book quickly and have started watching the videos! The classes look great so far, and I am already learning! Thank you!

  11. Hi Gloria! Is there a video to download for the Creole children’s workbook?

Also, is there still a promo code we can use because we live in Haiti?

    Thank you!
    Cara

    • Bonjou Cara!
Absolutely! I sell the workbook and video downloads package on here, but if you already have just the workbook, go to this link to purchase the video downloads.
If you already purchased the video downloads with the workbook as a set, email me at haitiangloria@yahoo.com so I can send you the access code again. You may have overlooked the card that comes with the directions.

Just purchased your course with the book. Super excited to get started! How do I gain access to the videos, and when will the book be mailed out?

    • Hi Desiree! I sent you an email that your book should arrive next week. There will be a card with directions for the videos. Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for shopping at the Mache!

  14. I bought the videos/workbook package on may 13th, the book arrived 3 days later (shipped out on monday as i ordered it on saturday, and arrived tuesday)! Super fast shipping! There are like 190 videos! So the price is fantastic! The book has EVERYTHING and is a perfect size to bring with you on the go! I got in a few videos before my book arrived & I LOVE Gloria’s energy! She is so upbeat & I could listen to her all day! Her videos are very indepth! The workbook & videos are worth EVERY penny! You will NOT regret buying this!

  15. “Se Pou Mwen Ou Ye” is a wonderful story. After taking the “Learn Haitian Creole with Gloria” course I’m able to read the story with a good understanding and then fill in the little gaps by using the English translation that accompanies each paragraph. I would highly recommend this book for Kreyol learners, parents adopting from Haiti, children, teachers looking to expand their classroom libraries, and etc.
